When i first thought about opening a business was around 2 years ago. I was 13 years old and making edits on tiktok, mainly on a specific fandom ( not naming its too embarrassing lmao ). before, i didn’t even think of trying to open up a business when i started the editing account. I was mainly invested on “trying to get good at editing and have a huge amount of followers” while doing it. After about around a year of consistently practicing on editing and posting it on the account, i got better at editing and gained a decent amount of followers. Then an idea struck me, “I should open a business. A pajamas business”. I told only a few people and they were supportive. I drew up designs, came up with a logo, and name. but I was not familiar enough on how and where i would get my designs on the clothes or even took into consideration on how much ill spend ( time and money wise ). so, i post an edit with the caption saying along the lines of “ I’m opening an apparel business based off of that fandom and that i wont be posting as often because of it.” Many of my followers supported me and even were excited to buy from it. Unfortunately, i never opened it because of the lack of experience, research, and me getting logged out of the account. i gave up on opening the business until a year later. i decided to put in the time and effort for this. i want c10uds to be based off of styles i like such as street wear, affliction, those high quality car hoodies, and from my own designs i draw up. c10uds is gonna have its own unique advertisement. I had the idea when i was having a talk with my friend about the attention span for todays generation. I noticed how many people don’t have very good attention spans ( including myself ) which would be difficult to advertise because of it. then, i remembered how i built my audience before, from when i first attempted to start my business. c10uds advertisements are gonna be through edits. The design of the clothes that i release are gonna be the theme of the edits as the advertisement. And even though i have some editing experience and aware how TikTok algorithm works, its still gonna be difficult. And now after months of ordering samples, work, money, relentless drawings of “concepts”, delays on productions, fear and prayers. I’m able to say….. c10uds is open.
